Six more weeks of winter… At the beach

Today is Groundhog Day. Unfortunately, Punxsutawney Phil has declared that we have six more weeks of winter here in Pennsylvania.

We decided to resist.

So today, you get two beautiful Facebook cover photos of tropical beaches. We hope that you will use them to help fight the winter blues with the ocean blues.

February is Black History Month

This year it's more important than ever to celebrate the achievements of African Americans. From the days of Abraham Lincoln to the Presidency of Barack Obama, the history of black people in America has been one of the great struggle and great triumph.

This month we are proud to offer this cover photo in celebration of black Americans and their contributions to the United States through blood, sweat and tears.

Pi Day is Here 3/14

Few days bring out the geeks like March 14, Pi Day. However, the beauty of mathematics is that it's everywhere, all around us.

Here's a terrific visualization created by connecting thousands of points around the circle,  shifting the color based on mathematical calculation.

Now you can celebrate on your Facebook page.

Pi Day (3.14) is a favorite among nerds… At least until May the 4th.

Human Heart Valentine Facebook Cover

Happy Valentine's Day!

It's true. Math nerds like pie too. Pumpkin pi is a favorite this time of year. (Okay, we eat it all year round.)

Mother's Day Facebook Cover Featuring Rudyard Kipling

This can be so true. Your mother is imperfect. She makes you angry. She makes you sad. She makes you worry. But, she also has this power that makes you feel closer to your Creator, because she was so instrumental when it came to creating you.

Happy Mother's Day, 2014

The Facebook cover graphic below has been granted into the public domain and can be used for all purposes.

Easter Facebook Covers

Easter is the celebration most important to Christians. It's believed that Jesus Christ returned to life on the third day after his crucifixion.

The first Facebook cover represents Jesus ascending into heaven and joining God.

The second Facebook cover is a photo in modern-day Jerusalem. The Catholic Church believes this tomb held the body of Jesus. You can see the massive stone track where a large round stone would've been rolled into place sealing the tomb.

According to the Bible, Jesus' followers arrived at the tomb the second morning to discover the massive stone had been rolled away and the tomb was open.

Happy Easter, everyone.

Mad Cat Facebook Covers

I am not usually one for Internet memes, but even I couldn't resist this angry cat. I don't know if he has a name but I call him "Mad Cat", and as far as cats go, he's pretty famous.

I don't put copyrighted stuff on this page without permission, but I figure if this cat has a lawyer, he's probably going to be busy for a while with much bigger fish to fry.

There are few holiday themes thrown in as well, so make sure you swap your cat daily.

Start with the original Mad Cat.  I use this every Monday.

Here's a matching profile picture.

Mad Cat says Bah Humbug to Christmas.

Did Mad Cat jump on the Mayan Apocalypse bandwagon?  Yep.

Happy Cat setting goals for the New Year? Yup.

Yes, I do know a little Photoshop!
